This coffee machine brews the trendiest drinks at the touch of a button: choose from espresso, lungo, black coffee, americano, cappuccino, latte and latte macchiato. You can also adjust coffee strength, portion size, milk consistency and coffee temperature of each recipe to your individual taste, then save the changes you’ve made.

AROMA PROFILES FOR BOLD TASTE EXPERIMENTS
The “Aroma Balance” system developed by Nivona provides you with an opportunity to feel like a true home barista. Choose from three different aroma profiles: Dynamic, Constant and Intense. Depending on the profile you’ve selected, water will seep through the coffee at different speeds, revealing different flavours in the process. The Dynamic profile results in a subtle, fruitier taste, Constant unveils some sweetness and light bitterness, while the Intense option is suited perfectly for a thick, strong, bitter drink.
“CAPPUCCINO-CONNAISSEUR”
To ensure that your cappuccino is truly barista-worthy, milk must be gently added to the coffee — which means that coffee must be poured into the cup first. Even though espresso machines let professional baristas achieve this with ease, bean-to-cup coffee machines still find it to be a challenge. Luckily, Nivona has cracked the secret behind the perfect cappuccino. The coffee machines of this series (and onwards) enable you to choose the order in which milk and coffee are added.

CONVENIENT MILK SYSTEM

In addition, the system can be rinsed with ease: all you have to do is insert the milk tube into the hole found in the drip tray, select the milk system rinsing function, and the entire system, along with the tube, will be rinsed thoroughly in mere seconds.
SIMPLE MAINTENANCE
The integrated automatic maintenance programs for descaling the appliance, cleaning the brewing unit, as well as cleaning and rinsing the milk system, make perfect hygiene easy to achieve. The brewing unit itself is removable, so the brewing system can remain clean, resulting in coffee that’s no less than perfect every single time.

When it comes to the 795 and 796 models, the only difference is colour/finishing. The 790 model lacks the additional features of rear wheels (designed to make moving the machine easier) and cup illumination.
The full set of this coffee machine does not include a milk container. However, the milk system works just as well without it: all you need to do is immerse the milk tube straight in a milk carton. If you wish though, you can purchase a NIVONA milk container separately over here.
There a few key aspects to the proper maintenance of your coffee machine:
1. Maintaining the water system. For this step, you’ll need a water filter and a descaler. Remember: 98% of your brew is made up of water, after all!
2. Maintaining the brewing unit. Coffee oils and residues accumulate inside the brewing system over time, which is why you need to regularly perform the cleaning program using special cleaning tablets.
3. Maintaining the milk system. To obtain perfectly stiff, delicious milk foam, make sure to regularly perform the milk system cleaning program with the help of a special milk system cleaner.
