The “Strong Brew” coffee maker combines pressurised and immersion brewing to serve you a short, strong cup of coffee. The patented helix chamber technology has been designed and developed in the UK for a streamlined twist that doesn’t apply pressure to your cup, while the vacuum-sealed immersion chamber features airtight silicone seals for better extraction. But what does it all mean? Well, what it means is really strong coffee. Thanks to its innovative design, “Strong Brew” crafts drinks with up to 257 mg of caffeine per cup (to put that into perspective, an espresso contains around 84 mg of caffeine).

No larger than a standard water bottle, “Strong Brew” is surprisingly compact. It’s perfect for home use or coffee on the go. All you need for a delicious cuppa is 15–18 g of ground coffee, a paper or stainless-steel filter*, and some hot water. The result is a clean, crisp filter brew with absolutely no grounds in your cup.

*You’ll find 100 paper filters included in the set. A reusable stainless-steel filter can be purchased separately.

WHAT’S SO GREAT ABOUT EXTRA STRONG COFFEE?

Caffeine is the number one ingredient in pre-workout supplements. This should come as no surprise, given that it’s known for its performance-enhancing qualities. When designing “Strong Brew”, Barista & Co looked at hundreds of studies to try and pinpoint the right amount of caffeine that they should aim for. Most studies agreed that humans need 3–5 mg of caffeine per each kilogram of body weight to see improved performance, faster running speed, and delayed exhaustion. As it turns out, strong brews can actually make you stronger as well!
