BREWING TECHNOLOGIES

“Classe 9” pairs excellent performance with Rancilio’s patented thermal control solutions.

The USB version offers four programmable doses per group. 

Patented “Steady Brew” technology. Rancilio’s “Steady Brew” technology offers a revolutionary take on the traditional thermosiphon system, and introduces a set of innovative features designed to improve performance. The “”Steady Brew”” system guarantees excellent thermal stability, reliability, and maximum repeatability both during busy periods and in low usage conditions.

Patented “X-Tea” technology. The “X-Tea” technology enables baristas to program their water dosages and choose between two different temperatures using the digital display.

Patented “ABM” technology. “ABM” (Advanced Boiler Management) is an innovative software developed to improve the performance of your machine in particularly busy conditions. When brewing espresso, dispensing water and frothing milk all at the same time, the software switches on the heating element to prevent any drops in pressure and ensure thermal stability. It lets users adjust energy consumption too. 

STEAM AND WATER 

Patented “C-Lever” steam valve. Turn it downwards for full steaming control, or turn upwards to lock the steam valve in place and enable hands-free operation. 

DESIGN

“Classe 9” boasts top-quality materials, ergonomic solutions, and a contemporary style.

Sculpted by light. The steel sides of the “Classe 9” model have a shaft of light running along the edge. The shiny steel and reflections create an eye-catching effect, making this machine the star of the show in any restaurant or bar. 

LED lights. The group heads feature ample lighting, with LEDs illuminating the work area.

RGB light system. Monitor the status of your machine with the help of RGB lights installed above the control panel.

Ergonomic portafilter. The chrome-plated brass portafilter with an ergonomic plastic handle holds up to 21 g of coffee, ensures stability when tamping, and eases stress on the wrist. The portafilter handle can be personalised.

Cup warmer. The cup warmer helps ensure that your cups are at the exact right temperature at all times.

Insulated boiler. The insulated boiler reduces energy consumption and increases thermal stability.

USER-FRIENDLY INTERFACE

The digital display and soft-touch buttons are designed to minimise workload and increase service speed.

Convenient control panel. The user-friendly control panel and intuitive interface put each single function in the hands of the barista. 

Digital display. The digital display lets users adjust extraction parameters in real time.

Soft-touch keypad. “Classe 9” boasts a soft-touch keypad with quick-response buttons made of tough, scratch-resistant polymer.

“Snap&Share” app. “Snap&Share” is a QR code scanning app that lets users share the technical settings of their espresso machine, register new products to activate warranty, and more.

Automatic switch-on and switch-off. Baristas can take advantage of the automatic switch-on function or set the power-on hours for each day of the week.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE 

Thanks to the automatic cleaning cycle and easy access to internal components, all daily procedures and service operations can be carried out at an impressive speed.

“Easy Clean”. Using the “Easy Clean” system, baristas can take advantage of automatic cleaning and rinsing programs, schedule daily cleaning reminders, or view the history of all cleaning cycles performed.

Removable cup tray grid. The removable cup tray grid is made of scratch-resistant, dishwasher-safe polymer. It lets any coffee residue flow directly into the drip tray, keeping the work area spotless at all times.
