To make drinks from pre-ground coffee, follow these steps: 1. Turn on the coffee machine and put the front knob in the "scoop" position. 2. Using the scoop, which is included in the set, scoop up some coffee. Make sure that it's level with the walls of the scoop! 3. Pour ground coffee into a special compartment located next to the bean container. 4. Press the coffee brewing button.
Yes, this coffee machine does allow users to program their preferred serving size. To do that, follow the steps below:
– Place your cup under the coffee spout.
– Press the button you'd like to program, then hold until the light stops blinking and the machine starts dispensing coffee. Once that happens, release the button.
– Once the desired quantity has been dispensed, press the same button again. The brewing process will stop and the machine will memorise the serving size you've just programmed.
This coffee machine is easy to maintain. Some actions must be performed daily, while others are required less frequently:
Daily maintenance: we recommend filling the water tank with fresh water, as well as emptying the grounds container and the drip tray, every day.
Non-daily maintenance:
1) Replace the water filter every few months.
2) Perform the descaling program regularly using a special descaler (the frequency with which you'll need to do this depends on how hard your water is). If you use a water filter, you'll have to descale your appliance less frequently.
3) Remove the brewing unit and wash it thoroughly once a month.

They keep deleting the bad reviews, so don’t be fooled. The coffee machine is not an original one.

Hi. How can you tell this machine is not a delonghi coffee maker. It should have a serial number inside? If you register your product with Delonghi they will know if its an authentic Delonghi product surely?
I had this coffee machine before, but this one doesn’t look like the original one. So I don’t think it is an original Delonghi coffee machine. I just bought it here because it was on offer, but it is better to pay a little bit more and buy it direct from the producer. And the coffee doesn’t taste the same like the old one.

The machine looks good ad smart with the metal finish. It looks better in real than on the photos . It’s been a clear upgrade from our old Delonghi. At the beginning the coffee machine was very quiet but unfortunately it’s started making a squishing noise so much so that I need to contact customer service (hence 3 stars). The coffee the machine produces is still nice – obviously all depends on coffee beans we use – there is nothing better than a fresh cup of coffee in the morning.
