1. The first possible reason is that the coffee is ground up too finely and it has clogged the coffee brewing system. Clean the brewing unit (see user manual) and adjust the grinding level to a coarser level. 2. The second possible reason – the coffee machine is clogged with limescale residue. Run a descaling program.
1. Make sure that the steam wand is clean. There may be some milk residue inside blocking the steam flow. Remove it and soak in the milk system cleaning solution. 2. Milk must be fresh, chilled and of appropriate fat content (3-4%).
The use of flavoured beans is not recommended in automatic coffee machines as they are caramelized and can clog the grinder and coffee brewing system. It is recommended to use only fresh and dry beans. Wet or very oily (extremely dark roasted) beans also can clog the coffee machine.
