To descale this coffee machine, follow these steps: 1. Pour the descaling product into the water tank and mix it with water using the ratio indicated on the packaging of the descaler; 2. Turn on the coffee machine, then press the descaling button and hold it for 5 seconds, until it starts flashing; 3. Press the Start/Stop button to start the descaling program; 4. The water and descaler mixture will be released through the spouts and the 4th coffee preparation level will start flashing on the display bar. Wash the water tank, fill it up with clean water and press the Start/Stop button; 5. Once the coffee machine is thoroughly rinsed, the temperature button will light up. This means that the machine is ready to prepare coffee. Don’t forget to rinse the capsule holder as well!

Unfortunately the coffee machine was broken when it arrived but coffee friend got currier to pick it up and we got our refund ina couple of days. Good customer service.
