The drip tray may have been removed too early. After preparing the last drink, wait a few seconds before removing the drip tray.
1. Rinse the milk system and clean it thoroughly by hand (see user manual). 2. Check that all parts of the milk system are connected correctly. 3. Make sure there is enough milk in the milk container or milk package. 4. Use only chilled milk of suitable fat content (3-3.5%). 5. If the first steps did not work, perform an additional descaling program. The limescale residue may have reduced water/steam supply (this has a direct effect on milk frothing).
Possibly the brewing unit has not fully returned to its position where it could be removed. Switch the coffee machine off and on again (via the button on the back of the coffee machine).
This machine allows you to adjust the temperature of your coffee. Of course, the temperature of the drink depends on the chosen recipe and the temperature of your cup (before you fill it up with coffee) as well.
The TE653M11RW model is part of the company’s “s300” line, while TE657313RW belongs to the “s700” range.
The TE657313RW boasts a metallised body (the body of TE653M11RW is made of plastic), an additional cortado recipe, the option of brewing 2 milk-based drinks at once (TE653M11RW can only make one) and 4 user profiles (TE653M11RW has two).
On the other hand, the full set of the TE653M11RW model includes a milk container (it isn’t necessary though: you can immerse the milk tube straight in a milk carton and keep the carton in the fridge when it’s not in use. You can always buy a milk container separately if you wish).
– Make sure the milk you’re using contains enough fat (3.2–3.5%).
– Use cool milk only (straight from the fridge).
– Make sure that the milk system is clean and not blocked.
There a few key aspects to the proper maintenance of your coffee machine:
1. Maintaining the water system. For this step, you’ll need a water filter and a descaler. Remember: 98% of your brew is made up of water, after all!
2. Maintaining the brewing unit. Coffee oils and residues accumulate inside the brewing system over time, which is why you need to regularly perform the cleaning program using special cleaning tablets.
3. Maintaining the milk system. To obtain perfectly stiff, delicious milk foam, make sure to regularly perform the milk system cleaning program with the help of a special milk system cleaner.
