As the other review says this kettle is the European version supplied with an Schuko to UK plug adapter. This is not the only problem with it. The UK version of the same kettle is shipped with a 1sqmm cable whereas the European version Coffee Friend is selling has 0.75sqmm cable. The kettle is cheaper on this site but there seems to be a reason to it.

It is really not very clear that this product comes with an EU plug and adapter. Not what I expected considering the company is registered in the UK and has a UK web address. Very disappointing and not worth the small reduction in price compared to buying from a UK retailer and getting a UK product.
