Instead of large coffee plantations, Mexican coffee is usually cultivated in small estates where farmers tend to each harvest with extreme care. Most farms are located on the southern side of the country, in the beautiful regions of Veracruz and Chiapas. This particular bean variety called Maragogype Superior is made unique by its peculiar size. Compared to regular coffee beans, these are nearly twice as large, which is why they’re often referred to as “elephant beans”. 

The supply of this coffee is extremely low, so it belongs to the Limited Edition line.

Due to its exceptional quality and taste, this coffee is marked as Specialty. According to the SCA grading system, it scores 84 points out of 100.
