I have had this for only one week and I am only on the first steps of learning to use this machine but the upgrade on my Sage grinder is huge. The experts you watch on videos talk of being able to differentiate between "conical " and "flat" burrs, which I thought was a load of rubbish but amazingly the taste of the coffee is much better with a much cleaner and clearer taste. It is money well spent upgrading your grinder and this one is gem. It also looks great on the worktop. The only problems are firstly, any small amount of stray coffee shows on white(gone in seconds with a quick hoover) and the second is how to find more time for the delicious coffee this grinder enables you to produce.
Bought this grinder at the start of the year, was on back order so took 5 weeks but couldn’t be happier! It’s the V2 but looks slightly different to the pictures (black dosing pot, silver button on the other side etc) - I prefer what I received.
I wouldn't say it’s quiet but what grinder is, it’s certainly not ‘loud’ and so quick it’s over before you start.
Incredibly consistent and I have zero issues with mess/static.
