How to Descale Your Bosch Coffee Machine

Descaling your Bosch coffee machine regularly is crucial to maintain its performance and extend its lifespan. When the calc indicator lights up, it’s time to descale. Ensure the machine is on and the carafe is correctly placed. Fill the water tank with a descaling solution, following the manufacturer’s instructions. Typically, you should not exceed six cups of liquid. Press and hold the ‘calc’ descale button for at least two seconds to start the descaling process. The process will pause intermittently to allow the descaling solution to effectively break down any buildup. It takes about 30 minutes. Once complete, the calc indicator will turn off. To flush out the descaling solution, run the machine with clean water at least twice without adding coffee.
